‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that the last time we saw Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), she fell off a cliff to her supposed death after a scuffle with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Port Charles Needs a Good Psycho

The land of Port Charles has been better off without the wicked troublemaker as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) have been raising Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), along with their daughter, Amelia Corinthos (Nathan and Owen Ford).

Nelle was undoubtedly bad news, but with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) dead, Port Charles needs a resident psycho again.

Lanier was the perfect psycho, and if she returned and tried to get custody of Wiley, who would represent her? Nelle’s lawyer, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), has left town, and who knows if he’ll return.

Killer Miller (aka Diane Miller, played by Carolyn Hennessy) would bury Nelle in court. That goes without saying. She despises Nelle and is close to the whole Corinthos clan. She would be the first to represent Michael and Willow.

Since everyone hates Nelle, she would be forced to use a public defender. She wouldn’t stand a chance of winning the case.

Nelle has done so many terrible things. The last thing she did was attack Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) by slitting her throat and almost killing her. And to this day, Brook Lynn no longer sings.

Nelle also terrorized Carly. She gaslit Carly by haunting her with memories of her dead son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). At Nelle’s baby shower, Nelle and Carly argued, and Nelle accidentally fell down the stairs at the Quartermaine mansion. She lied and said that Carly had pushed her.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina Feels Guilty for Not Supporting Nelle in Court the First Time

Carly had to plead insanity to avoid prison, and she wound up at Ferncliff. She left Michael for dead in a car accident, and when she gave birth in the woods, she gave Wiley to Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) after his son had died.

The list of evil deeds goes on and on. However, there is one person who would help Nelle: her birth mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

'General Hospital' Spoilers: Will Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) And Willow Tait-Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen)'s New Relationship Be Over Soon?

Nina has two daughters, Nelle and Willow. She would need to choose between the two, and since Wiley is technically Nelle’s son, she may lean more toward helping Nelle.

Plus, Nina and Willow are estranged due to Nina setting up Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) by tipping off the SEC to their insider trading. Willow was furious when she found out.

Willow may never forgive Nina; if she does, it will take a long time. Despite the army of people who would fight for Michael and Willow, Nina would think she could “save” Nelle by helping her get custody of her son.

Leave it to Nina to choose Nelle. Nina has been sorry for years that she testified against Nelle at the last custody hearing after Nelle asked her to be her character witness. Nina will think she’s making up for the past and that giving Nelle a chance with her son is the best way to reform her.
