Things are always fun in Port Charles when someone’s feelings get caught in a bind, and ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are enjoying watching everyone get what they deserve for trying to manipulate and control someone else.
With Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) under fire for his blackmailing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), all sorts of things are happening, and one of them is Michael won’t get his way with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
As usual, when things fell apart, Michael wanted to change the rules of the game and try to wrest back control.
The problem for him is Ned has no intention of handing over his proxy and giving up control of ELQ since he held up his part of the bargain.
Michael didn’t do himself any favors by telling Ned that he deserves to lose ELQ since Michael lost everything.
Wonder where Michael got that pettiness from?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Honoring the deal
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers have little doubt that Michael will try to do everything he can to get his proxy back and renege on the deal, and that’s not surprising.
He’s he same Michael who didn’t share Ned’s plan for them all to work together with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to further his own agenda of taking over ELQ.
Drew seemed willing to work with Ned at that point, but with the help of Michael’s games and Ned thinking they were both dead set against ousting him it fell through.
Then the insider trading happened and Drew broke his brain.
But Michael has bigger issues now, like Drew having hurt feelings that Michael would dare choose his father over their friendship, and now Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is going to want to know what he was thinking in protecting Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Michael will be forgiven before too long, but first he’ll have to do some groveling to his Hypocrite Queen mother. We’ll be shocked if she’s not proud of him for trying to protect his family and dad on some level.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – The Drew factor
Things are only going to get more entertaining with Drew as he not only has to come to terms with being second to Michael’s family, a concept Drew doesn’t understand since his daughter comes second to Carly, but also Ned having commanding control over ELQ.
Since Drew really wanted to oust Ned when he thought he sold him out to the SEC, he’s not going to be happy when he learns Michael gave Ned his proxy to buy his silence.
Their greed and desire for power may be the one thing that can bring them together, even if it’s just to take Ned down, though how they’ll do that is anyone’s guess.
There’s a good chance Drew is heading for a cliff mentally despite Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)’s telling him off seeming to have cured part of his whatever is happening.
Will Michael and Drew work things out? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
