‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers find that star Nancy Lee Grahn says that she can now feel a little bit safer at work. The daytime television star, who is best known for her role as Alexis Davis, has taken to her Twitter account to thank the show’s executive producer Frank Valentini along with her bosses at the ABC network and Disney for supposedly implementing a mask mandate on the set of the show. This comes after her co-star Steve Burton contracted COVID-19 while at work along with some of her other co-stars, like Ingo Rademacher ( Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks), expressing their opinions and stance against wearing masks at work. Here’s what she has to say.

Nancy took to her Twitter account to write: “Thank you @valentinifrank, Dominick Nuzzi, @Disney & @ABCTV for following the science and taking ALL possible measures to ensure the safety of the entire @GeneralHospital cast and crew. Very grateful to be working with all of you. Today is a good day for #GH.”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for her fans and followers to comment on the situation. Many of them wrote: “This is great news to hear! You & your families deserve to know you’re in a safe environment that will not danger your life or the lives of others. Wishing you and the rest of the cast/crew following science all the best. Your voice made this possible,” along with, “Looks like there will be a few recasts… and I’m glad they are doing this. It’s sad that it has to come to this but mask wearing and vaccinations are a sign of respect for others.”

Another fan wrote, “I’m happy to hear they are taking the right approach. As actors you are in closed spaces and sometimes are required to kiss, it definitely seems the best way to increase the odds of staying safe.”

So far the producers of General Hospital have not made any comments about the matter. Stay tuned.
