‘General Hospital’ Spoilers love the storied history of the show and how it can be added to at times.

One addition led to the Great Quartermaine Mansion Heist with Veronica Bard (Erika Slezak) playing the hapless mark.

She was caught in a way between Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Drew came thisclose to buying the Quartermaine estate and throwing everyone out onto the street had Ronnie not done what’s right.

But this didn’t have to happen at all. The fact it did falls squarely on Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson)’s shoulders.

To add insult to injury, it’ll also cost us the chance to see Ronnie earn Tracy’s respect and possible friendship.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Monica should’ve said something. Anything!

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers love Monica. For years she was fun to watch and she was the perfect balance to Tracy. That could’ve been passed onto Ronnie, but more on that later.

Instead, the writers took the easy way out and had Monica not tell a soul about Ronnie.

If she had, chances are Tracy would’ve been better prepared for a stranger to be in the family crypt.

We wouldn’t like to see a stranger on our private property in our family crypt if we were a Quartermaine, so why expect Tracy would?

Instead, Ronnie got Tracy’s bulldog persona. And Tracy hasn’t let up one iota.

Tracy mentioned how Monica never once mentioned Ronnie during all of their talks.

Why? Rediscovering a sister would be news to share, especially with those Monica trusted.

Instead, she never made a mention of things and her silence led to the family being torn apart and Drew nearly throwing them all out on the street.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Loss of a sisterhood

We absolutely loved Tracy and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison)’s relationship. We hoped the writers would come up with a cure to keep him around so we could see them grow together.

But nope, it wasn’t in the cards.

Now there’s an opportunity where Ronnie could’ve taken on Monica’s role to balance Tracy. But Monica’s silence ended that scenario.

Even now, Ronnie could win Tracy’s trust and respect and even her friendship given time. But once more, that’s not in the cards the writers have dealt as Ronnie is leaving soon.

There’s a chance for that to happen down the road, but we doubt it. It’d be a cool new dynamic and Ronnie would add so much energy to the show as Tracy’s friend and foil.

In the end, we’re left with what ifs and what could’ve been thanks to Monica’s silence.

Maybe it’ll happen in the future?

Would you like to see Ronnie stay and possibly be Tracy’s friend and rival? Let us know in the comments below.
