‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) exit story was accidentally leaked on social media. A preview of Tuesday’s GH shows Michael trapped in a fire at Sonny Corinthos’s penthouse and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) frantically rushing into the fiery inferno to rescue him.

“Sonny watches in horror as his penthouse goes up in flames. Plus, Michael is completely engulfed and Jason races to save him from the explosion. Don’t miss it!”

In the preview clip, Jason holds Sonny back from rushing into the penthouse to save his son as Jason steers him away from the blaze and heroically goes back in himself for Michael.
The smoke inhalation and everything that’s happening with Michael could lead to Sonny having a heart attack. The mob boss was warned it was coming, and his pride and stubborn nature are preventing him from seeking medical help for his health issue.
Michael’s exit from the soap is clear. Either Michael perishes in the fire, his body is never recovered, and he returns as a recast, or in the best case scenario, Chad Duell decides to return and resume playing his character.
Perhaps Michael will only have to be sent to a clinic for a while for severe burns. It’s highly doubtful they would start another coma storyline. However, executive producer Frank Valentini claimed he was leaving the door open for a potential return someday.
Our predictions suggest that Sonny will want revenge on whoever has targeted him and killed or tried to kill his son, which could lead to an all-out mob war.

Right now, Michael is embroiled in a divorce from his wife, Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). She cheated on him with his uncle, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).
Hopefully, Willow will feel guilty over her poor treatment of Michael if he dies in that fire. She’s completely disregarded his feelings since she first realized how she feels about Drew.
Willow and Michael’s children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), will be devastated if their father doesn’t leave that penthouse alive.
Chad Duell shocked fans when he announced his plans to leave the soap in December. He explained his desire to part ways with GH, at least for now.
He continued,
“This break, there’s a few things behind it. As people know, my dad passed away, and I’m still coming to terms with that, and also my intention was to spend some time back in Arizona, but that’s becoming a little harder to do.”
Duell’s significant other, Luana Lucci, is attending school in Los Angeles, and their son, Dawson, is in daycare in California.
Duell concluded,
“Right now, I’m just more about doing things mentally, physically preparing myself for whatever comes, next chapters. We’ll see what happens in the future, but right now, I’m just trying to grow in ways that maybe I stifled myself. Sometimes, you have to make yourself feel uncomfortable to take a step. That’s my journey at the moment.”
