‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyeal Grey) kidnapped Ava Jerome (Maura West). He is taking her to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
Even though Mason was noticeably uncomfortable when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) told him to dispose of Ava, he would at least make it look like he followed the “God-fearing” criminal’s orders.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Mason Brings Ava to Nikolas
Nikolas made it clear to Mason that Ava was not to be harmed. However, if Mason does not follow through with killing Ava, Cyrus could exact a little “divine retribution” against him.
Mason doesn’t like that Ava set them up, but he may not want to kill her. He seems to have a bit of a “thing” for her, like his cousin, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth).
Nikolas may also be capable of offing Mason in a heartbeat, so Mason’s only solution is to kidnap Ava. He will take her to Switzerland and bring her right to Nikolas, and she will get the shock of her life.
When Ava sees Nikolas, she will be understandably stunned. She may lash out at him for making her believe he was dead.
Nikolas will likely sputter out a few well-placed “my loves” and “my darlings” before he ambushes Ava with another shock.
If Ava doesn’t want Nikolas to go to the police and tell them that Ava tried to murder him, she must stay married to him.
Ava refuses at first, but Nikolas insists that Ava stays with him since she won’t be safe in Port Charles because Cyrus thinks Mason has killed her.
So Ava will be forced to choose whether she wants to stay with Nikolas and stay married or if she wants to face the wrath of Cyrus Renault.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nikolas Will Not Let Ava Go
If Ava weighs all of her options and still doesn’t see things Nikolas’s way, Nikolas may lock her up. He did the same thing to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Meanwhile, in Geneva, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) discovered that Nikolas had been withdrawing from one of his accounts.
Laura believed Nikolas was being held against his will because they couldn’t find him. However, the banker they met with showed them proof that Nikolas withdrew money right after he went missing.
Laura is beyond overjoyed that Nikolas is alive. When Nikolas comes to the bank to make another withdrawal, the banker urges Nikolas to come clean to his Mother and “do the right thing.” Nikolas replies that he intends to.
Considering Nikolas is a Cassadine, “the right thing” may not be that simple. Nikolas may hold Ava captive, not only so that Cyrus can’t get to her but also so that he can take her away from her daughter, Avery Jerome Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
This plan was the intention before Ava hit him over the head with that statue. Austin will no doubt be wondering what happened to Ava. He may even enlist Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to help him find her.
Hopefully, Sonny will find out what Cyrus is up to and take him down.
