Things have been in flux on ‘General Hospital’ for a while with the replacement writers during the strike doing better than the show’s actual writers, and now the new writing team has ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers wondering if they’ve been paying attention.
Ever since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) returned from Nixon Falls and chose Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) over Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has been the epitome of a spoiled brat.
Her feelings were hurt and her family was pulled apart, and since all she’s done about it is hate on Sonny and blame everything that goes wrong on him.
She and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) refused to acknowledge that taking Sonny down was bad for the family until the writers fixed Michael’s logic between episodes, but Joss have gotten worse and worse.
And now, she’s sounding completely idiotic by acting like she never knew what Sonny did or that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) killed for him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Joss needs serious help
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers think the writers are trying to show her having an emotional breakdown, but the way they’re doing it is questionable at best.
It’s obvious Joss has woven a web of lies to fit her viewpoint of the world around herself, and now that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) tore that web apart, with help from Nina, she can’t handle it.
In one of the few moments in recent memory where Carly wasn’t acting similar, she tried to give Joss perspective, but in doing so she exposed herself as having similar delusions.
She told Joss that Jason only killed in self defense or if he had no choice while admitting she had no idea who or why he killed anyone.
Her own web is close to coming down, and it’s about time for them to get the reality check and help they’ve needed for a couple of years.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – What else would a mob enforcer do?
The biggest and most obvious flaw in Carly’s logic is Jason was Sonny’s right hand man and chief enforcer. That means he killed whomever Sonny needed or wanted to be killed.
It’s as simple as that, and yes, there had to be cold blooded murders in there. If the show rewrites that the writers will show a complete disregard for the show and characters.
They’ve already started with making Joss look like a bumbling fool, but we’re hoping they have some grand plan in mind.
The best we can think of is they’re doing a soft reboot with Sonny facing off against the world and going from there.
It’s back to base roots and it wasn’t needed. They just needed to add to the show, not rework it, but maybe they have something really cool in mind for us.
