‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers love hearing about our favorites finding other endeavors to keep their artistic side going, and Marcus Coloma has done just that since leaving ‘General Hospital’ as Nikolas Cassadine.
While the show has come up with a somewhat direction for his former character as Nikolas (now played by Adam Huss) is repeating his old mistakes.
As for Marcus, he’s expressed an interest to return if asked, but he’s keeping busy enjoying some creative endeavors of his own and sharing them on social media.
In doing so, he’s also had some of his former castmates and friends join him, and the episodes have been pretty fun.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – That creative itch
As reported exclusively by soaps.sheknows.com, Marcos regularly collaborated with Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos on ‘GH’) in skits for Instagram along with other castmates that would play larger than life versions of themselves.
It was fun to see and some of the moments were classic and hilarious.
After he left the show and Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) was on hiatus, they worked together on another series of Instagram shorts called ‘2 Dicks’ this past July.
They had some awesome moments and their first season ended with John Stamos putting on a phenomenal performance.
But Kin went back to ‘General Hospital’ so things hit a couple of scheduling bumps.
He told She Knows that he’s happy for Kin going back, but it’s made things trickier.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Going undead
On Youtube, he’s released the first episode of Deathless (shared above), where he as the actor deals with being undead.
To get into it and make his story come alive, he did what all authors, writers, and actors do — he dove into research.
Per She Knows:
“I’ve been studying witches and religion and science because I think there are all these different theories on life and different philosophies on why this and why that. And I’m starting to feel like they’re not as separated as I thought they were. And it’s, it’s been really fulfilling to me. I’ve found that I’m not really a money motivated person. I just really get inspired by knowledge and checking things out and exploring different things.”
As much as he’s enjoying his tour of darker material, his real love is the comedy and lighthearted moments he’s created before, and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are looking forward to what else he’ll come up with.
