‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Mama Bear Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) laid down the law with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and it’s been a long time coming.
Lois came to town to give her daughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on after Tracy used her to spy on her friends at Deception, and she was fired from her job.
Lois cannot depend on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who thinks he is Eddie Maine. He can’t be the father to Brook Lynn that she needs, and that’s why Lois returned.
Although, it would have been nice if Lois had appeared when her daughter’s throat was slashed by that nutcase, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lois Stands Up to Tracy
The important thing is that Lois has the guts to stand up to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) in a way, not even her father would if he could be a parent actively.
Lois telling Tracy that she didn’t have an “altruistic bone” in her entire body and that she didn’t buy that Tracy did what she did out of the goodness of her “non-existent heart” was priceless.
That’s when Tracy dropped a bombshell: she got the company for Brook Lynn, “lock, stock, and barrel.” She didn’t want her granddaughter wasting her life on music the same way Lois did.
Lois reminded her that it was Brook Lynn’s choice and that Tracy had no right to interfere. Tracy told Lois that Brook Lynn had a future at Deception and that she wasn’t just an assistant. Tracy told her that Brook Lynn now owns 51 percent of the company.
Lois told Tracy that her daughter would not sacrifice her integrity over a company. Tracy reminded her that Brook Lynn is, after all, a Quartermaine, and Lois had to deal with it whether she liked it or not.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Sordid History Between Lois and Tracy
Longtime fans may remember that Tracy hated Lois from the moment they met, and the feeling was mutual. Tracy made fun of her thick but charming Brooklyn accent, and Lois despised Tracy because she was greedy and selfish.
Lois may be a good person, but she is not a pushover. She wanted Ned to choose between ELQ and the Quartermaines or his wife and child. Ned chose the family business.
Eventually, Lois raised Brook Lynn in Bensonhurst, away from the Q’s drama. Recent scenes showed flashbacks of Ned and Lois as a couple and how magical they were together.
If Ned remembers his past with Lois, it could spell disaster for Tracy. Eddie Maine loved his Brooklyn goddess. It will be interesting to see what may happen if Ned (aka Eddie) and Lois reconnect.
Tracy and Lois’s recent scenes were gold. The two women will surely be sniping at each other and arguing about what is best for Brook Lynn.
The gloves are off between the two women, and there is no love lost between Lois and Tracy. If we had to choose which of the two women would win in a fight, our money is on the Brooklyn babe with the long, artfully decorated talons!
