‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers loves how some things never change in Port Charles, and one of those is how Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will mess something up.
Few can dig themselves into a hole as efficiently as Lucy does, and she really outdid herself this time.
She usually means well, but she starts talking before thinking and now Deception is on the brink of losing their top talent thanks to her.
And to think it all started with a photo shoot where they thought Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was too approachable.
Instead of telling her about it or changing her makeup to help, like any photographer or producer would do, they kept it to themselves and so did Lucy.
That is until they returned to the Deception office and Lucy broke the news as to why the shoot was cancelled.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Lucy needs to be reigned in
This was a fun scene for so many reasons as we got to see Lucy at her best and worst as she challenged Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) about wanting to replace Sasha, then went on how she thinks they should do it.
Along the way, she alienated Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and he called her out and quit, and Sasha agreed with what he said about being a model is pointless.
So with her thinking of quitting, Lucy has effectively managed to destroy Deception and has Brook Lynn Quatermaine (Amanda Setton) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) scrambling.
It’s the type of mess only Lucy could create, and it has ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers looking forward to how she intends to get out of this mess.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Her own worst enemy
Lucy is so much fun at times, but most of the time she’s her own worst enemy. She has her vision for what she wants and is willing to do whatever she can to make it happen.
That’s not a bad thing, but it often flies in the face of what’s best overall.
Her saving grace could be that she previously wanted to replace Sasha before Tracy squashed that idea, and now she can try to get Brook Lynn to see if she can’t talk Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) into being he new Face of Deception.
Since Blaze didn’t want to do it before, we doubt she’ll agree and we also think Brook Lynn will read Lucy the riot act for causing so much trouble.
If she had talked to the producer and helped convey his wishes to Sasha then this could have been avoided, but she didn’t and now she’s giving everyone reason to send her packing.
