Well, it looks like ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have a new baddie in town, and it looks like he’s got the goods on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for turning Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into the SEC for insider trading, and it comes on the heels of news on an old baddie making his return.
Over the last few days, there’s been a rumor that Ted King will be returning to “General Hospital” as Lorenzo Alcazar.
This opens up a whole can of possibilities going forward as Lorenzo always had an issue with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for the last twenty or so years.

For those that may remember, during his run between 2003-2007 Lorenzo was always mad at Sonny, and it looks like that old rivalry will be picked up once again with Lorenzo possibly being the power Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) answers to.
According to She Knows, it looks like Lorenzo was the one Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) called to find out who ratted out his mother’s illegal activities.

We’re going to ignore the fact that there’s no way anyone but Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) knows it was Nina, but lazy writing to solve that conundrum to cause Sonny heartache came to the rescue.
And in doing so, it’s also given rise to the possibility that Cyrus isn’t the one in charge, but that he answers to Lorenzo.
It makes sense since Cyrus gave away his worldly wealth and could somehow afford Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to help get him out of prison.
And since it was revealed that Cyrus has had a long standing grudge against Sonny for being respected while he was villainized, it seems that Cyrus and Lorenzo are a perfect match.
If this is the case, then it looks like we’ve only scratched the top of the ice berg.

If there is substance to the rumor that Lorenzo is returning, then it would seem he’s the other power ‘General Hospital’ have been thinking was out there, and it’s going to make life in Port Charles very interesting going forward.
While Sonny’s marriage will be destabilized if Michael comes out with what he was told, then Sonny will be distracted from the rest of his business.
While he doesn’t have Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) there to help run things, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has stepped up and is taking charge of looking for Ava Jerome (Maura West), and that could go a long way in cracking things wide open.
