‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will soon convince her bestie, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), to fire Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) from the Metro Court.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: New Year’s Eve Was Eventful for Nina
New Year’s Eve 2023 was a very eventful night in Port Charles. Someone finally broke the news that Nina was the one who tipped off the SEC to insider trading and that someone was Lois.
That night, Olivia didn’t want to talk to Lois. She was distraught that Lois betrayed her confidence in favor of telling Sonny the truth. Lois tried to explain to Olivia that she couldn’t stand lying to Sonny’s face. Olvia was so angry that it wasn’t clear to us if they would resolve this.
After today, it looks like Lois and Olivia finally made up, and it’s about time! Olivia knows she probably should have told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about what Nina did to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but she wanted to keep the peace.
It was a bit strange considering her relationship with Sonny and Carly, but she finally stood up to Nina and told her that she was the one who caused all the problems for herself, not Lois or anyone else.
It’s not hard to imagine that Lois might convince Olivia that the traitor should not be allowed in that hotel, let alone run it.
The hotel belonged to Carly before Nina snatched it up. Nina took Carly’s place at the Metro Court before the ELQ and Aurora merger tanked.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina’s Perpetually Bad Karma
Carly was forced to sell her half of the hotel. Nina tried to sell her half back to Carly, but she didn’t want anything from Nina. The only reason that Nina even offered was because Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) blackmailed her to do it.
Lois doesn’t know Nina, but what she knows of her she doesn’t trust. She will manage to talk Olvia into not trusting her, either. Peer pressure can be a killer!
Olvia and Lois are back on good terms, and it’s only a matter of time before Nina will be history. While everyone discovering that Nina was the SEC snitch ruined Nina’s life, let’s not forget that all this started because Nina practically stole Carly’s life.
The question is, was Nina going to tell Sonny the truth, or is that something she’s just saying to make herself seem less guilty? More and more people were finding out what she did, so she had to consider telling Sonny.
While characters on the show are known for doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, Nina believes that she shouldn’t be condemned for what she did. After all, she was reporting a crime.
Nina has convinced herself that she did the right thing by turning in Carly and Drew, but she didn’t do it because she cares deeply about the law and feels that all crimes should be reported.
The lesson here is that one should never do anything for the wrong reasons, or it could affect your karma. Nina obviously turned Carly and Drew in for the wrong reasons, and now she is paying the price.
