General Hospital spoilers tease that things might not ever be the same again for Carly and Sonny in Port Charles. Luckily, Laura Wright (Carly) and Maurice Benard (Sonny) break things down for us while also hinting what might be ahead for their characters.
General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Wright And Maurice Benard Preview Carly and Sonny’s Future
While the couple have always had different issues, they’ve managed to keep things in tact. Their marriage has been rock solid. But that might soon change. There’s so much going on at once. Carly recently announced that she is pregnant. Unfortunately, it’s a high-risk pregnancy, too. She also got kidnapped by Ryan and has found herself mixed in the middle of a murder mystery. Sonny, meanwhile, is on a new mission of his own.

“Sonny and Carly are still the voice of truth for each other,” actress Carly Wright told Soaps in Depth. Even though they are always there for each other, that doesn’t mean they don’t have their fights. “Carly calls Sonny on his stuff when he doesn’t want to hear it, and that’s what Sonny does for Carly. Just because they’re in love doesn’t mean you have to lose the intensity between them.”
If there is one thing that fans want to know though, is if something will come up between Sonny and beautiful Port Charles detective Margaux Dawson. After all, Carly has had to keep her eye on Margaux for the last several weeks. She senses the connection between her and her husband and even told Jason Morgan that if Sonny cheats on her, it’s over.
“I don’t know if this is one of those things where Margaux and Sonny have to get physically close,” actor Maurice Benard also told the publication. “It’s an emotional relationship — and neither Sonny nor Margaux know why! Just the hint of it is what makes it work, even if they’re friends. I don’t even know where this is going. But if the writers are into writing for Carly, Sonny, and Margaux, I’m all for that. I’m kind of excited about it!”
