‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers confirm that Kristina Corinthos-Davis’s (Kate Mansi) revenge plot against Ava Jerome (Maura West) will end in catastrophe as Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) end up as collateral damage.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kristina Was Horrified Ava Did Nothing To Help Sonny
At her baby’s grave, Kristina vowed that she had to stop Ava before she hurt everyone she cared about. This revelation occurred after Kristina witnessed her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), lying on the floor helpless, suffering from chest pains, with Ava standing by him, looking down at his heart pills, asking, “Oh, do you need those?”
Kristina was livid that Ava could be so vindictive. Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) checked on Sonny and warned him that he needed to undergo his heart procedure sooner rather than later. Kristina went to visit her daughter at the graveside and declared that Ava was dangerous. She does not understand why others brush off the danger Ava poses.
Kristina will find herself in a garage where Ava’s car is stored and have the idea to cut the brakes on Ava’s car. She will soon grab a pair of cable cutters to get the job done.
We understand that Kristina was traumatized, but she’s now out of touch with reality. Her impulsiveness has led her into situations where she has regretted her actions, and it appears that this is about to be the case yet again.
“Ava needs to be stopped; I have to stop her,”
Kristina says as she tampers with the brakes on Ava’s vehicle. In the next scene, a car accident occurs between two cars, and Lucky Spencer (Johnathan Jackson) demands to know what she did.
Ric is behind the wheel of the car with Liz in the passenger seat. It looks like Kristina is in the other car involved in the crash.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kristina Needs Therapy To Work Past Her Trauma
Kristina obviously needs serious therapy to work past her trauma. She’s had to contend with the death of her baby and her sister. Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death was only months after the baby. We can also understand why she feels like Ava is a threat to her father.
She’s not thinking clearly. Kristina truly believes that tampering with Ava’s breaks is the correct action, without considering the inevitable outcome.
Liz and Ric pay the price for Kristina’s vengeance. Her carelessness may affect her relationships. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may feel responsible for not encouraging her daughter to seek the appropriate help.
Sonny is also guilty of enabling Kristina’s thirst for revenge. Kristina can’t accept what really happened the day she lost her child.
Ava didn’t actually push her, but she laid her hand on Kristina to try to calm her down. Kristina tripped over a bag in Ava’s hotel suite, which sent her crashing through the window and into the pool at the Metro Court.
Kristina truly believes Ava pushed her. She remembers the event as she saw it rather than how it actually unfolded.
The incident with Ava’s car is just one example of her poor decision-making. While we like Kristina, she’s definitely not going down the right path and needs help.
