‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) suspects that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is up to her old tricks. Her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), hasn’t been acting like himself, and she thinks Ava might be why.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kristina Will Bring Her Concerns to Carly
Years ago, Ava switched Morgan Corinthos’s (Bryan Craig) medication with placebos. She inadvertently caused Morgan’s death. He went off the rails and stole Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) car. Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) planted a bomb in Julian’s car, and it blew up with Morgan inside it.
Kristina may start to wonder if something is off with Sonny’s bipolar medication and enlist the help of someone whom she knows has experience with Sonny when he’s at his lowest, and that person is Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Kristina will explain to Carly all the signs she sees that Sonny’s judgment is impaired. Carly already wonders why the mafia boss is suddenly so trusting of Ava, and she may have some questions of her own.
Spoilers indicate that this week, Carly will have an ah-ha moment and come to a realization about Sonny. Perhaps Kristina’s concern echoes Carly’s, and Carly agrees to get to the bottom of it.
It would be easy for Carly to visit Sonny at his penthouse and use the bathroom. She could get her hands on Sonny’s pills to have them tested.
She will discover that his medicine has been cut from 50 mg to 10 mg per pill, and she may conclude that Ava is behind it.
Of course, Ava isn’t guilty of tampering with Sonny’s prescription, but she isn’t exactly innocent, either. Ava has known for a while that Sonny’s not adequately medicated, but she has chosen to remain silent.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Is Toxic For Sonny
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is the one who’s responsible for the medication switch this time. As the head of Pikeman and a power play. His aim is for Sonny to go off the deep end and land himself in prison.
He made a deal with Sonny’s pharmacist, and that’s why he has a lower dose than he should. It’s easy to see how Ava could be blamed for Valentin’s deception.
Kristina sees that her father has developed a strong bond with Ava, making her uncomfortable. She knows that Ava is a snake.
Not to mention, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) briefed Kristina on her fears about Ava and how she’s toxic for Sonny. Kristina was shocked to hear this coming from Nina, but she took it under advisement.
The more she thinks about it, the more she believes Ava is up to no good, so she goes to Carly and asks for her help exposing Ava.
Once Carly and Kristina figure out what they feel is the truth, they won’t hesitate to tell Sonny. He may not believe them at first, but he will eventually question Ava, and she will have to admit the pills are bogus.
Sonny will be furious at Ava, and that’s when we’ll see the real Sonny resurface. He will be grateful to his daughter and ex-wife for saving him from Ava’s clutches.
