There’s plenty of speculation going on about Ava Jerome (Maura West)’s future on ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers, and it’s got us wondering if ‘General Hospital’ spoilers are going to be saying goodbye to one of our favorites the week of October 16.

It’s hard for us to imagine Port Charles without Ava as she’s always fun, has great one liners, and is simply one of the toughest people on the show.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Mason Planning to Kill Ava?

So even when it’s hinted at her being killed off in an interview with Nathanyael Grey (playing Mason Gatlin) on Soap Opera Digest curtesy of She Knows, we can’t help but wonder if she’ll bounce back. Literally.

Her last brush with death came when she was pushed off Wyndemere and landed on the bounce house called rocks below that everyone survives, but she’s come back from other attempts too.

But this one may be different, though there hasn’t been a announcement of the actress leaving the show. That doesn’t mean much since she could play another character, but we don’t see that happening.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Mason hates witnesses

In Nathanyael’s interview shared by She Knows linked above, he talked about Mason’s mindset and even though Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will order him to release her, he’ll decide to kill her instead.

“Mason decides, ‘Regardless of what my boss says, it’s better for me if there are no witnesses. The way he looks at it, the moment she was kidnapped, he already knew how this was going to end. (Her death) was a foregone conclusion.”

While it may have been a conclusion Mason had already come to, “General Hospital” Spoilers suspect Ava won’t do herself any favors by trying every manipulation trick in the book to get Mason to let her go.

She can be persistent, and that could really rub him the wrong way, which in turn will make him taking her to a cliff to push her off all the more enjoyable for him.

At least, that looks like it’s the plan. In the interview, Nathanyael points out how Maso feels if he doesn’t kill her, he’ll be looking at a prison cell in his future and it’s worth any punishment Cyrus can dish out.

“So it’s a spur-of-the-moment decision. ‘Screw that, I’m gonna kill her!’”

Of course, things will get even more interesting since Ava and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) share a daughter and when word reaches Sonny he won’t be too happy.

'General Hospital' Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) Sends A CHILLING Message To Mason Gatlin's (Nathanyael Grey) Boss?

That prison cell could be looking pretty good to Mason at that point.
