‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggests that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) may be using her “amnesia” to get her way with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). Does she really not remember her past or is she just acting to get what she wants?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Parenting Partnership
GH’s Esme Prince and Spencer Cassadine met one another at boarding school in France. When Esme shows up at Wyndemere Castle, she claims that she is Spencer’s girlfriend. They have a tumultuous relationship where it appears that Esme is just using Spencer to be able to reach her goals.
Esme ends up seducing Spencer’s father, Nikolas Cassidine (Adam Huss), which horrifies Spencer. Due to this encounter, Esme ends up pregnant.
When Esme argues with Ava Jerome (Maura West) over her actions with Nikolas, she ends up falling from the castle parapet. Her injuries supposedly leave her with amnesia.
Esme has her baby, which is Spencer’s brother. Nikolas is not involved in parenting because he is currently being held as hostage by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). Esme is left raising a baby on her own, which is not easy.
Spencer has stepped up though, because he cares about his brother. While is it not his son, he is sacrificing for family and is helping to care for the child. Esme and Spencer have even moved in together to help provide for Ace Prince-Cassadine (Jay & Joey Clay).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Using Her Situation
Esme convinces Spencer to attend parenting classes with her. It is awkward for him because everyone assumes they are together, and this is their child. He is going only for Ace’s benefit, but their co-parenting situation is putting them together often.
When Spencer’s girlfriend, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), tries to come over for a date, childcare continues to get in the way of their relationship.
As the childcare class ends, Josslyn Jacks (Edyn McCoy) comes to look for Spencer. She wants to let him know that Trina’s father, Curtis Alford (Donnell Turner) has been shot and that Trina needs Spencer.
When she come in, she sees Esme laying on the charm. She is touching Spencer’s arm, telling him how thankful she is that he joined the parenting course.
Josslyn lays into Esme after Spencer leaves, contending that she can see through her. Esme defends herself, saying she was just thanking Spencer. However, Josslyn believes she can see the “real Esme” suddenly.
Esme leaves in a rush saying she needs to get back to Ace, but of course, she goes to interrupt Spencer as he is consoling Trina. She gives her condolences to Trina, getting between them once again.
Does Esme really remember everything and is she doing all she can to ensnare Spencer? Is Trina going to put up with is or she is going to let her relationship with Spencer go because of this interference? What are your thoughts?
