First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Michael prepares himself. We’d expect anger from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for his secrecy, but it might be more mild disappointment.
In the promo, Carly tells him keeping things buried can have unintended consequences. She should definitely know! She’s kept a few secrets that blew up herself. Like others in soap world, she doesn’t seem to learn from that.

In other news, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Kristina has a surprise visitor. It’ll be Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who’ll want to know why it feels like Kristina started pulling away.
We think there’s a good chance this is more just Kristina being preoccupied with the surrogacy situation and her father’s recent heartbreak/arrest. But we can see where there might be more to it. We got a vibe Kristina might have respected Blaze’s fears and decision to be private about her sexuality.
But now that they’ve had a public moment where Blaze pulled away a bit, we think the reality of what that means for their relationship and future might be hitting her and causing that as well. Even if only on a subconscious level.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Thursday, January 18: Desperate times
Finally, Esme seeks help from an unlikely source. Could it be Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)? There’s a clip of him asking someone, “What makes you think you can trust me?” There’s another shot of Esme, saying, “That’s all you can do?”
It looks like she could be standing in a GH hospital room, so it fits. She’ll feel like she can’t turn to the law after that conversation with Spencer. Since she wasn’t recording him admitting he handed over a baby to a fugitive, there is no proof Nikolas didn’t just steal the child on his own.
Of course, Spencer has no proof she remembers her crimes. So, any legal action would be a he said/she said between them.
If Esme would take a minute to think clearly, she would see that Spencer just did her a favor, in a way. Yes, if he could prove her memory is back, there’s a good chance the charges would be brought up again.
But, she has committed no crime other than the minor break-in she already got probation for. So, there’s no proof she’s a real threat to anyone. And if she were to go to trial, it would be a similar situation to before.
They didn’t want to charge her while dealing with amnesia because she’d be too sympathetic and would likely get off. Well, we’d argue Spencer just made her just as sympathetic, if not more so.
Her baby was just stolen, and she’d been held prisoner by the baby’s father. She’s been nothing but a good mother and employee since Ace was born, except for that Wyndemere thing.
And it would be so understandable that a woman with no memory would want some idea of who she is/where she came from.
She might see Cyrus as her only option. He’s a bit sympathetic himself now. So, he would possibly have some influence with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to try and fix this situation.
