General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 18 indicate Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) just keeps getting worse. However, he might have just played the wrong card at the wrong moment. Plus, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has a problem. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 18: Sinking deeper
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Drew strikes again! Last time, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) was approached by two officials who want to ask her questions. She’ll be confused and ask, “What kind of questions could you have for me?” So, Drew keeps sinking lower. He has now not only hurt another person just to hurt Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). But he’s now also possibly putting Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) in the line of fire as well. You know, someone who was helping Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and has been on good terms with Drew? There is zero loyalty.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 18: Let’s make a deal
As for Drew, his scheming doesn’t stop there. We all know there was an ulterior motive to him baiting Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). Now we know what it is. Since the Measure C support is falling apart more each day, we believe this is how Drew might accomplish the shared mission. He’ll warn Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), “Your golden boy Michael is going straight to prison.” So, we think he’ll offer to drop the idea of pressing charges if Sonny will leave.
The thing is, he has no idea ADA Justine Turner (Justine Turner) is close by and likely hearing everything. So, Drew’s whole plan could come back to bite him. Especially if Sonny plays things smart and traps Drew into stepping his game up while Sonny remains non-committal to making such a deal. We seriously hope this will be the case. Drew needs to finally go down.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 18: Deception drama ahead?
Finally, Maxie is not ready to let this go. We know she’s been worried about the rest of the Deception women wanting to keep silent about that illegal money. She made it clear to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) Deception is her livelihood and she has no family money to fall back on. Since she is convinced they’re making the wrong decision to keep silent, she’ll turn to Martin for legal advice. She’ll want to know, “If I go against them, can they kick me out of Deception?” If that isn’t the case, Sonny might have something to worry about after all. Maxie is determined to make sure Deception is protected at all costs.
