‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are ready for another round of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) vs. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and it’s something almost no one wants and the show doesn’t need.
But that never stopped the show before, so they had to find a new way to make the two antagonists create more friction.
What better way than for Drew to come crawling back to Nina with Crimson about to fail?
Sure, he manipulated her into it, or so it seems at the moment.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Nina’s baby
Crimson is and will always be Nina’s baby. Sure, she didn’t create the magazine, but she took it over and turned it into a success and arguably the backbone of Aurora.
Because of that and his erratic moves, Drew needs Nina but can’t bring himself to admit that or that he’s an idiot for firing her out of pettiness to put his girlfriend in her seat.
Nina may not fully realize it, but she holds all of the cards in this negotiation and she can walk away and let Drew flounder or she could push for him to sell Crimson to her.
Either one would work in her favor since if it’d shut down like he said he’d do in his empty threat, the people he forced to stay there would be free agents and Nina could bring them in to start her own magazine as an affiliate of the newspaper.
That would give Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) the freedom she wants, but she’s going back to law so that’s that.
The same outcome would be if she bought Crimson from Drew along with the employees’ contracts.
Instead, we expect Nina to follow her emotions to save her baby and everyone’s jobs there, which Drew will once more falsely claim is her hero complex and narcissism while it’s doing the right thing.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – What about Valentin?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers think it’s possible she will turn him down because then she’d leave Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) twisting in the wind after he bought the paper for her.
We don’t see her doing that, but if she does Valentin will understand even if he’s hurt by it. Or he could help her find away to annex Crimson from Aurora.
Maybe he’ll even buy it himself? Stranger things have happened, and we’d like to see the cycle broken and Nina refuse Drew’s offer so he can’t try to trigger her every day.
Will Nina fall for Drew’s games or call him on it and end the cycle of revenge? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
