‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are still getting used to the new writers, and it doesn’t help when they drop tidbits that don’t make any sense.
In the Tuesday, March 26 episode Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) admitting to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that the deal he made with John Cates (Andrew J. Harrington) came about because Jagger has a recording that would send Jason to prison for life under RICO.
There are a couple of issues that came to mind with this.
First, how did they know about Jason being on Cassadine Island and where to wait for him as he said they were, and second, does the recording just implicate him?

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers expect more on the recording to come out in due time, and it should clear up any questions we have, but until then it’s always fun to speculate.
In this case, we have to wonder who else the recording implicated. If it was just him, we think he would chance going to jail and call Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).
Killer Miller may not have been able to help him given the case, but he would’ve at least been able to let his family and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) know he was alive.
The face he’s so skilled and couldn’t get ahold of a burner phone at some point in the two plus years he was gone really bothers us, and we hope it’s not going to be a “they were watching me” excuse.
That’ll get an eye roll and a “Come on, man” for sure.
So that makes us think the recording implicated either Sonny or Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and we think it may have been the latter.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Carly makes more sense
While a recording of Jason involving Sonny would make more sense, the fact he didn’t say anything makes us think it was Carly.
To us, Carly being caught saying something with him makes a lot more sense because she was trying to fill in for Sonny while he was in Nixon Falls and something could’ve slipped through the cracks.
The person doing the recording could’ve been another informant, maybe for Selina Wu (Lydia Look). It may even have been the one that recently betrayed her too.
There are plenty of ways that could work, and Jason would know Sonny could take care of himself and possibly beat the charges, but Carly was way out of her depth.
Jason would protect either of them with his life, but she seems more likely.
