Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Curtis Ashford (Donnel Turner) have bonded big time, believing they are father and daughter.
Trina visited Curtis at ‘General Hospital’, and the two of them talked. At first, he tries to send her away, but Trina appeals to him as his daughter.
Trina apologized for taking Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) side after he kissed Jordon Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Trina tells Curtis that whatever happens between him and Portia, he is still her father. Curtis tells Trina he should not have pushed her away.
Curtis explains to Trina how he is not the man he was when he rescued her from Victor in Greenland when he was able to be the father that Trina needed.
Now that Curtis is paralyzed, he doesn’t think he is good enough for his daughter. Trina reminded him that Curtis first wanted his little girl when he came out of surgery.
She said that she was there for him and wanted to help him. They share a tender moment and a warm father-daughter- hug. It was all so sweet and touching.
However, what if the two are not father and daughter? This situation may all lead up to a significant twist in the story.

Remember when Selina Wu (Star Lydia) offered to doctor the paternity test results to make sure that Trina turned out to be his daughter?
Why would she do this? What would be her motivation for doing this for Curtis? Maybe Selina had Curtis followed and found out about the offer Curtis received from the WSB.
Selina may have wanted to secure Curtis’s fate to ensure he kept running Savoy so that she could continue her card games and keep the underground gambling going.
Imagine Selina enlists Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to help her switch the test results, saying Curtis is Trina’s father, not Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews).
When Selina suggested she switch the test results, Curtis immediately pointed out that Selina does not do anything for someone else without expecting something in return. He chose not to have Selina tamper with the results.
However, Selina could soon reveal her poisonous deeds and hold it over Curtis’s head. Trina still considers Taggert to be her father in every way that counts.

It would be doubly devastating for Trina to learn that the man she has started to bond with is not her birth father.
Curtis would be crushed because he has come to love Trina as his daughter.
How could Curtis handle all the sadness and disappointment of not being able to walk again, only to learn Trina is not really his baby girl?
Taggert still sees Trina as his own and was devastated when her DNA test reveals that Trina is not his daughter. But what if it is all a lie and Taggert is Trina’s father?
How would this work out for Curtis and Portia when they are already on shaky ground? What about Trina and the man she now believes is her biological Dad?
Their family could all be based on Selina Wu’s deceit and treachery.
