‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) might be getting out of prison early to cause some chaos in the streets. There are plenty of good reasons that the writers should bring him back full-time and make him a free man again.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is looking to get out of Port Charles, so it will leave a big hole for an evil person to take over and run the show.
Queue Cyrus! There are for sure some immoral characters out there already, but they really need someone that can take over and is worthy of taking over Victor’s spot when he’s gone.

However, Cyrus claims to be a man of God now, having found his savior behind bars. Surely there is still a ruthless and evil side to him that could come out if he’s released.
There has always been doubts about his religious claims anyways, so maybe it is just part of his plan to get out of prison to begin with!
Cyrus previously offered to help Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to take down Victor, so maybe he has information now that could be very useful to that cause. If Cyrus could help with the takedown, that would probably go a long way for his freedom.
They should definitely play up this idea and make it a reality. Cyrus is too good of a character to be sitting behind bars doing nothing but reading his bible. Let him out. Let him cause some destruction again! We need something to really shake things up.
