‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will ditch dark Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Will Do Anything for Jason
If the March 8th episode of GH was any indication, Carly would do anything for Jason, and that includes impeding an FBI investigation.
It was a lovely and warm reunion between Carly and Jason, and we all knew it would be. Carly was heading upstairs in her home when she heard a familiar voice say her name.
Carly stopped for a second, then turned around to see Jason standing in her living room. She couldn’t believe her eyes but ran over to Jason, and the two embraced.
When Carly realized that Jason had been shot, she told him she would fetch the first aid kit and patch him up. She didn’t want to leave him because she thought he would disappear if she left the room, still reeling from the fact that it really was Jason.
No sooner did she return from getting the kit that someone was banging on the door, and the voices on the other side exclaimed, “Police open, up.”
She opened the door to find John “Jagger” Cates and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Carly played it all innocently while Jason was hiding in the stairwell.
They “informed” her that Jason wasn’t so dead after all. She pretended to be shocked but said she wasn’t sure she believed them.
They told her they wanted to search the house, but Carly was vehemently opposed and told them to get out of her house.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Was Only with Drew Because Jason Was Gone
That was the dead giveaway that she was harboring Jason. Anna and John warned her what would happen if she did not cooperate.
They didn’t need to tell her. She knew the drill. Jason may be long gone by the time the police get to search the house, or maybe not.
Clearly, Carly will do whatever it takes to protect Jason. A part of them will always love each other. Some say they are best friends, while others argue they are soulmates.
Either way, Carly and Drew will likely not survive Jason Morgan’s return. That’s because the two of them are intertwined. Carly may even love Jason in a way that she can’t love Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Drew has been serving as a replacement for Jason since he’s been gone. Carly started her relationship with him because she wanted to feel closer to Jason.
Also, Drew has all of Jason’s memories because of the mind-swap situation. It was the next best thing to being with Jason that Carly could get at the time.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Has Trouble Coping With Drew’s Need for Revenge
Drew has also been consumed with revenge lately. He is obsessed with sticking it to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and it’s been an issue for the once-stable couple.
Carly told Drew that she couldn’t be a part of Drew’s endless revenge plot against Nina no matter how badly she behaved.
It shows Carly’s growth and maturity; she doesn’t want to focus all her energy on taking Nina down. Now that Jason is back, Drew and Carly are headed for Splitsville.
Well, here we are with Jason, Carly, and Drew. Carly and Jason have been in each other’s heart for as long as we can remember. What does the future hold for them.
