‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is most definitely having a stressful new year. Not only is she having to parent both a teenager and a new baby with special needs, but she’s also trying to keep both her family and her marriage together. But that won’t be too easy seeing how her husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is about to blow it after he finds out the secret that Carly has been keeping with her ex-husband, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Sonny is about to be clued in to how his wife has been operating behind his back lately. For quite some time she’s kept a very important secret from him, and that she knows Nikolas Cassadine is still alive. Actually, make that Carly and her ex, Jax. For Sonny, this is the ultimate betrayal. But that’s not just because Carly is not being upfront with her husband. It’s also because she’s teamed up with someone who he considers his ultimate enemy in Port Charles. For Sonny, this is a low blow and he can’t believe it’s coming from his own wife.

Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny Corinthos on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way to Soaps in Depth: “Obviously, Jax is a big threat, because Sonny’s very defensive about it. If I had to be honest, I don’t think Carly is really into Jax. It’s Sonny who is really jealous here.”
But here’s the thing: will Sonny’s jealousy blow things out of proportion? There’s only so much that Carly can take from her husband, right?
