‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is in a very sticky situation at the moment. How is she going to get out of this mess at Deception Cosmetics?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Doing Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) Bidding
GH’s Brook Lynn Quartermaine started working at Deception Cosmetics in a marketing role. She was unable to sing, so this was a good move for her. Her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has been using that connection to her benefit. She has been pressuring Brook Lynn to get information for her.
Tracy definitely has it in for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Lucy has a 1% share of ELQ and that means that she is often acts in the role of the tie-breaker in matters of voting for the Quartermaine family. This was how Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart) was able to take over ELQ. He secured Lucy’s vote.
If Tracy can hurt or at least threaten Deception Cosmetics, she may be able to get Lucy to give up her share in ELQ. So, Tracy has told Brook Lynn that she needs to get materials from the company.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Downloading Files
When Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) steps out of her office, Brook Lynn takes the opportunity to download important files about the production of the Deceptor, the company’s new product. She downloads all the files to a flash drive, which she passes to Tracey.
IT obviously discovers that a download happens from Maxie’s computer. The executive files are password protected, so Lucy goes after Maxie at first for taking the files.
Maxie denies it, asking why she would download files that she always has access to. It then comes up that Brook Lynn was in her office at the time when she walked away from her computer. Brook Lynn looks terribly uncomfortable.
Caught “red-handed” in a way, Brook Lynn admits that she did the download so that she could work on the social media and marketing. She connects it to her job smoothly and the ladies don’t suspect anything. When Lucy asks for the file though, Brook Lynn tells her it is at home. Lucy is livid and wants it returned.
It seems that Brook Lynn is off the hook at the moment. She played it off as something necessary for her job and not at all unusual. But, when Brook Lynn asks her grandmother to return the flash-drive, she doesn’t do that privately enough.
Another person in the company, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), witnesses Tracy handing her the flash-drive. While Sasha doesn’t know what happened yet, Brook Lynn will be in the deepest of hot water when it is learned that she gave the files to her grandmother.
