‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that since Ava Jerome‘s (Maura West) sister, Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker), has been killed, Ava may be “gifted” her territory.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Agrees to Run the Territory If Sonny is Involved
Someone in the organization could give it to her and tell her they could take her out if she doesn’t take over. The territory must stay within the Jerome crime family.
Ava doesn’t want her daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava Scarola), to grow up in danger. She agrees to run things if and only if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) can help her.
Ava sees the situation that Sonny is in. He has a leak in his organization and doesn’t know who it is. By running things with Sonny, she can offer him more power to fight whoever is after him.
Ava is a tough cookie and can handle being in the mob. She was once very much involved in the business and can be just as ruthless as Olivia when she needs to be.
The stylish martini-drinking art dealer did, after all, kill Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) as part of her plan to invade Port Charles with her brother, Julian Jerome (William DeVry).
Connie overheard Ava call “Derek” Julian and planned to tell Sonny who “Derek” really was. So, she killed Connie in cold blood to stop her.
With this new arrangement, Avery will not have one but two parents involved in the mob. Olivia was no joke, and Ava will soon come to realize that her sister had her hand in the most lucrative territory in town. Sonny and Ava stand to gain a lot if they run the business together.

Sonny and Ava have been getting along really well lately. So well that spoilers indicate that there could be more going on with them than meets the eye.
He trusts her now, as they have come full circle. From enemies to confidants, neither one of them could have imagined them developing a true friendship.
Sonny has put Ava’s switching Morgan Corinthos‘s (Bryan Craig) medication in the past. They share a daughter, and West and Benard also have an easy and natural chemistry.
Sonny protected Ava in Puerto Rico, and even though it started when Sonny wanted Ava to move into his penthouse to keep Avery safe, he’s become quite protective of Ava as well.
Something else that Sonny and Ava share is a wild and wooly history. They had sex one time in the Quartermaine crypt and produced Avery.
Sonny and Ava are both fiery and passionate on their own, but think of how much stronger they would be together.
The two of them run the territory and become close business partners. It’s thrilling for Ava to have that kind of power again.
Although, she didn’t realize she had missed it until now. They will take over the mafia and change the game as an unstoppable team.
As they work together to take down whoever is threatening them and their daughter, they inch closer to the bedroom.
The excitement of taking over the mob will bring them closer. Sonny and Ava may be the next power couple in Port Charles.
