‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is spiraling into alcoholism, and he’s already made some terrible decisions.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Finn’s Drinking Escalated After Gregory’s Death
He got caught red-handed drunkenly swapping spit with newcomer Barb (Devon Ogden) on his couch, and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) couldn’t have been more shocked.
Finn’s father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), just died from ALS. Finn was devastated and started drinking after Gregory’s memorial.
His brother, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), saw him but decided that their father’s memorial was not the time and place to confront Finn about his drinking.
However, he was furious that Finn used their father’s death as an excuse to get drunk. Meanwhile, Violet Finn (Jophiell Love) is worried about her father and knows something is wrong. Finn said he just wanted to go home and pack his father’s belongings.
Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) offered to help Finn, but he told them he just wanted to be alone and insisted he would be fine.
The newlywed couple knew that Finn was going to go home and drink. They have already questioned whether Finn’s daughter, Violet, is safe with her father.
Spoilers suggest that Brook Lynn, and Chase will plan an intervention for Finn. They want him to go to rehab and get clean. However, it won’t be that easy to convince Finn to go.
If he ever agrees, it may take some time for Finn to go to rehab. Liz already wants to distance Violet from Finn’s drinking, and she may insist to Finn that Violet isn’t safe with him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hayden Could Swoop In And Take Violet From Finn
Chase and Brook Lynn just got married. They have already played house with Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) baby, Baily Lu. Naturally, they may want to bring Violet to live with them for a while.
However, Liz may talk to her sister, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and tell her what’s happening. This situation could be Hayden’s chance to reclaim her daughter.
Finn doesn’t seem to think about what’s best for his career, relationship with Liz, or daughter. Maybe if Hayden takes Violet, it will be a wake-up call for him.
It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen Hayden on the show. Finn and Hayden were once in love, but Hayden skipped town on their wedding day, taking their unborn baby, Violet, with her.
She wrote a letter to Finn saying that she’d lost the baby, but that was a lie. Hayden later returned to Port Charles to introduce Finn to his daughter.
Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) convinced Hayden that staying in Port Charles was too dangerous for her and her daughter.
Hayden made the ultimate sacrifice and left Violet in the care of her father. But if she hears of Finn’s difficulties, she may see it as an opportunity to swoop in and take Violet from him.
If Finn put his little girl in danger due to his drinking, he’d never forgive himself. Perhaps letting Violet stay with her mother while Finn goes to rehab to get the help he needs would be the best for everyone, especially Violet.
