General Hospital Recap Friday, May 3: Alexis and Diane Troll Valerie, Free Up Family To Continue Kristina Intervention – Willow Tells Kristina the Shocking Truth About Shiloh
Now that Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) is gone, Kim and Drew have to deal with the rest of their lives without him. While Drew tries to talk Kim into staying with the Quartermaines for a while longer, Kim thinks it’s best she go back to her apartment and start adjusting to Oscar not being there. When she arrives, she’s overwhelmed to see there’s a huge shrine outside the apartment filled with flowers, pictures, and notes from different people talking about the impact Oscar had on them, as well as memories.
This includes a term paper of Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla). The note attached says she never would’ve passed a class without his help. While she’s taking a moment to get control, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) comes up behind her and places a hand on her shoulder. He wanted to be here for her, and goes over some of the notes with Kim. They marvel over the impact Oscar had on so many people, then Julian apologizes for just showing up like he did since she’d said she wanted to do this alone. He says if she wants, he’ll leave, but she asks him to stick around.
Meanwhile, Drew is at the Quartermaine house when Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) arrives. The opportunist doesn’t waste a minute in trying to get in Drew’s good graces or bring up memory retrieval. Drew says once again that he won’t do that because he doesn’t want to risk losing the past five years in the process. Shiloh weasels his way out of the situation, saying how he always encouraged Oscar to keep the lines of communication opened, as well as how often Oscar would ask about Drew. He says he believes Oscar was trying to draw parallels between them. He then offers a book someone found while cleaning out Oscar’s old room at Dawn of Day. He says there are passages Oscar marked that Drew might want to see, as it might help him connect with his son more. He asks Drew to pay special attention to the book mark. After Shiloh leaves, Drew opens the book and sees that Oscar was using a picture of himself with Drew and Kim to mark his place.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Learning from the best?
Alexis has a plan to get around Valerie, which Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is skeptical about. This involves inviting Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) over. The pair disguise themselves as each other, then Diane leaves to run errands in Alexis’ car, leading Valerie on a wild goose chase that frees Alexis up to go to the session with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth).

Our personal favorite is when Valerie, obviously wondering what’s going on with “Alexis”, enters the building and inquires about the girl in the plaid shirt. Diane comes up behind her, wig-free, and informs Valerie that, as this stakeout is unauthorized, Valerie will cease and desist her harassment of Alexis, or Diane will sue the badge right off her. She helpfully suggests a doughnut there that Valerie will thank her for. We love this lady.
Back at the safe house, the session is going way better than the last. Kristina’s very open and apologetic for her attitude, and understands their motivations. She isn’t sure whether she’ll stay in DoD or leave, but she hopes they’ll respect whatever decision she makes. That decision might just get very easy, because Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) arrive. Willow, who’d warned Julian that Brad Cooper’s (parry Shen) involvement with DoD is no good and she’s got very real and valid reasons to think so, says that she’s here to tell Kristina the truth about Shiloh.
Scam on
Sam and Jason, who are still dealing with the Oscar situation and how to handle it with the kids, end up getting to DoD business. Sam informs him about Shiloh offering Sam a place in The Trust for a piece of dirt. She figures she’ll invent something, then while Shiloh is preparing things for her ceremony, she’ll steal Kristina’s pledge and run. Jason wants to help. He and Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) are going to invent a fake hit that will check out if Shiloh goes searching, but will ultimately be impossible to prosecute on, because it only exists in their imaginations.
