General Hospital News: Steve Burton Is Worried About Jason Morgan’s Reputation
Just recently Steve told Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “The fact that I’m talking more than Carly in a scene is ridiculous. We know something’s wrong. Maybe I have the flash drive somewhere and they have to take a chip out of my head, I don’t know. But this is a bunch of bull crap! I need to freaking go back to not talking. What happened to that part of my career?”

Of course, Steve is his usual good-natured self and can’t help but make fun of his own character’s non-verbal legacy. Still, the actor can’t believe just how many lines he’s had to memorize these last few months. Surely, that’s not making his job harder, now is it?
The handsome actor continued, “Come on, dude. They have no sympathy for me at all at work. They’re like, ‘Finally, you are talking! Good job. You can talk.’ But this is why I kind of joke about the new Jason. Once I go back to staring at people and not saying anything, then I’ll be the old Jason again. Right now, he’s the new version of Jason, Jason 2.O!”
With that being said, we have a feeling that Steve Burton has nothing to worry about. As far as his fans are concerned, Jason Morgan will always be known for being stone cold…. and handsome! As a matter of fact, some fans would even agree that Steve doesn’t even have to speak in front of the cameras. Jason has such a huge presence that his body usually does all of the talking for him. Either way, his fans love him no matter what.
