It seems that Brian Laundrie’s Father, Chris Laundrie, has joined the search for his son in the Carlton Reserve off the West Coast of Florida. Before now the entire family has looked suspicious by not really being all that upset about Brian’s disappearance, and lawyering up before they contacted police, not to mention just taking off with Brian as soon as he got home from his ill-fated trip with Gabby in her van and not really acting all that bothered about it.
They didn’t call the police, and they didn’t call Gabby’s family and keep them updated of anything that was going on, in spite of Gabby’s family’s repeated attempts to reach out to them.

Cassie Laundrie, Brian’s sister, has now appeared to distance herself from her parents saying that she doesn’t know if they knew about anything to do with what transpired between Brian and Gabby, but of course she would say that, she has children herself and knows that if she incriminates herself, then the consequences could be dire for her family.
It’s ironic that the family lawyer, who isn’t a criminal lawyer but rather a real estate lawyer, has advised Cassie and her parents not to talk about Brian which is just strange. It’s been theorized that the family lawyer could be helping him and that would be the reason the family can’t discuss him right now.
According to the community tab of Christina Randall’s youtube channel, a youtuber local to the area where Laundrie is allegedly missing, there was a sighting in the Carlton Reserve and there was a camp site found, which is I’m assuming what they told on the local news, but they did not find Brian himself… at least not yet.
This could be the reason that they’re bringing Dad in, maybe Dad could help lead them to him, or maybe they’re just waiting on Dad to slip up and crack and tell them what he knows.
As for the Appalachian Trail theory, authorities are watching it carefully, they do intend to follow up on any and all leads, but they did catch up with the guy who was thought to be Laundrie and confirmed that it wasn’t him. We at DSD will keep you updated on further developments – stay tuned!!!
