The news of Gabby Petito’s disappearance has been all over the news and social media. She was reported missing on September 11. Now, her fiancé, who was the last person to see her alive, Brian Laundrie, has disappeared and has not been seen since last Tuesday.

Petito is a blogger who gained popularity because of her love for traveling in her van. The couple had been traveling together on a cross-country road trip throughout the Western states. Petito and Laundrie wanted to go explore the areas of the Western states that they had yet to see. They stopped in Wyoming in the Grand Teton area and decided to spend some time there.

With traveling on their minds, some very werd things began to happen. For one, Laundrie went back to Florida on September 1, Petito was not with him. The couple shared a home in Florida and it seemed strange that she would continue on this road trip without him. This is when people really started to get worried about her and about what was going on.
Strangely enough, Laundrie just bolted when things started to get intense. Laundrie’s family talked to the police and told them that Laundrie left their home with his backpack and they haven’t seen him since last week. Things are really started to look suspicious for him at this point. No one has heard from him yet and from the looks of it, he wasn’t a suspect until he just up and vanished.
Police have searched practically everywhere that they heard Petito had been seen. They did a full search of a Florida wildlife reserve for Laundrie because now they are just as confused as to where he has gone. Police said about Laundrie, “We’re hopeful that he’s out there.
Certainly, we’ve prepared for all different possibilities, but our goal is to locate him and bring him back to North Point.” They have checked trails and campgrounds for him and are going off of the information that his parents gave to them. “His family says they belive he entered the area earlier this week,” police tweeted to try and get some help with the search.
A body has been found in Wyoming and this is the area that authorities think Petito was last seen. The Teton Country coroner, Brent Blue did confirm that the body that they found was of a young woman, but he is unsure of the identity of the body as of right now.
