Netflix’s ‘Canvas’ tells a heartbreaking story of a grieving man who is struggling to find his passion and art again. He falls into a downward spiral, however, after a few years, tries to revisit his creative side and paint again. However, he can’t do it alone.
Take a look at the short trailer below that was uploaded with the following caption,

Abney III and produced by Paige Johnstone, CANVAS tells the story of a Grandfather who, after suffering a devastating loss, is sent into a downward spiral and loses his inspiration to create. Years later, he decides to revisit the easel, and pick up the paint brush… but he can’t do it alone.”

Viewers had several things to say, and some were just peculiar, however, some actually commented on the trailer itself. “No sooner had the trailer started than it ended lol.”, “Curious is this is an animation with no talking because it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve seen one that doesn’t talk. A decent amount of them just tell the story by showing it rather than it being spoken.”, “Pixar: “We create moving stories that make people cry!” Netflix: “I’m about to end this man’s whole career.”, and “I’m interested in this. This one is directed by one of the animators at Pixar, Frank Abney, who is one of the animators of their new upcoming movie SOUL.”
