Former Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Tina Brown is more than happy to share her opinion of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, explicitly taking aim at Meghan Markle.
Brown Said Meghan Is “Flawless About Getting It All Wrong”
Tina Brown is an expert on the royal family, as her last book was “The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor, the Truth and the Turmoil,” which was published in April 2022.
Brown claimed that the Duchess of Sussex has “the worst judgment.” Tina Brown said this on The Ankler podcast with Janie Min to promote her new Substack newsletter, Fresh Hell.
Brown threw Harry shade for trash-talking about the royal family. But she also simultaneously complimented the Duke of Sussex.
She commented,
“The thing about Harry is he’s very good at being Prince Harry. And the tragedy of this is that he is the most talented member of the royal family,”
As for Meghan, she said,
“I think he’s pretty much in the thrall of Meghan. The trouble with Meghan is that she has the worst judgment of anyone in the entire world. She’s flawless about getting it all wrong. She really is.”
This assessment would explain Meghan’s choice of dress for her recent appearance at the CHLA charity event. The red Carolina Herrera dress was totally inappropriate for the occasion.
Brown explained that Meghan doesn’t like to follow advice. She has many professionals surrounding her and supposedly takes guidance from them, but she never listens to others. She does whatever she wants, and usually, she ends up falling flat on her face.
Brown also exclaimed, “All of her ideas are total crap, unfortunately.” When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first left the royal family, she predicted that Megxit would be a total disaster.
Prince Harry Is The Lamb For The Slaughter
In terms of Harry being at the mercy of Meghan’s “crappy ideas,” Brown described Harry as “the lamb for the slaughter in this situation.” She said Harry and Meghan are “addicted to drama.” Brown insists that the Sussexes could have left the royal family on better terms if they hadn’t behaved poorly and been so “hotheaded.”
Brown reasoned that Harry was honestly impressed by Meghan, thinking she hung the moon. That’s why he allowed her to steer them when they stepped down as working royals.
“And he just sort of followed her blindly like a child,”
She stated.
Brown revealed that Palace aides had always thought that Harry would step down, claiming that it was apparent he was
“unhappy with the constraints of the royal family.”
She noted that the couple’s exit from royal life has been a total waste.
She also said that the Army was good for Harry and allowed him to become a “real person.” However, Harry is still naïve, which means Meghan could easily influence his judgment.
She also clarified that while Harry could always make a comeback, the writing is on the wall for Meghan.
“Harry will always be Harry,”
She explained.
“He’ll always be the grandson of the Queen and the son of Diana.”
Meghan is a narcissist and may not be redeemable, but many people still root for Harry to come to his senses.
