Content creator, musician, and co-founder of the popular Facebook page Being Libertarian Eric July is launching his own comic-book universe and during its first day has already passed $500,000 in his campaign. July has been very outspoken about DC and Marvel, and their politically fueled content that has rubbed readers the wrong way for many years.

Comics are about escapism, adventure, and wondrous people, so why not have a comic book that reflects that? He has reached out to industry veterans Cliff Richards and Gabe Eltaeb to launch ‘Rippaverse’ with the first book, ‘Isom’. The 96-page book will launch a brand new universe with interesting characters, dynamic stories and is all independently fueled.

The story of ‘Isom’ follows Avery Silman, a once entry-level hero known as Isom in the city of Florespark, Texas, who hung up his suit shortly after gaining his abilities. Now, he will be thrust back into that world after trying to live a quiet life.

All of this is coming to life in the first book that has been successfully launched on the first day. You can grab a piece of comic book history for $35 or even grab a signed copy for $50. The book is already completed, and will begin shipping out at the end of the month, and beginning of August.

Some have speculated that this endeavor could cross into the millions, and we would like for nothing better. The Rippaverse is here for the people, and we look forward to seeing where the future of this will go. Congratulations to July and the folks working hard on this indie content that fans will love. We’re with you and cannot wait to get our hands on the first book.
