We all remember that moment in 2022 where Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian West were a thing, right? Well, so does Pete and apparently, it’s a time in his life that he doesn’t remember too fondly. “That was a bad look for my career.” says Davidson, who is now free and clear of anything to do with the Kardashian Empire.
Some people would be quick to scoff at this declaration and say that Pete was crazy for not wanting to ride that clout train for all it was worth, but it seems that, according to Pete that’s all it was, a bunch of hype. Apparently, Kim’s follower count and all of the headlines he was in for dating her was a cold comfort for the comedian, all of Kim’s money, power, and fame couldn’t do anything to really endear her to Pete in the end.

Davidson has moved on to actress Chase Sui Wonders, he met her in 2021 the same year he began dating Kardashian, on the set of the movie Bodies, Bodies, Bodies. You can tell from the pictures that Davidson definitely has a type, like Kardashian she’s thin-framed with long dark hair, but unlike Kardashian, Chase Sui Wonders actually looks… happy.
She looks like there is a genuine soul behind her eyes, not the vacant, robotic stare at Kim seems to have perfected since she got with ex-hubby Kanye West. (Remember back in the early 00’s when Kim Kardashian smiled for pictures and actually looked sort of human? It’s been so long, you wonder if we’ll ever get a glimpse of that Kim again, but maybe that’s a side of her that she reserves only for her children… we can hope.)
Wonders is a very low-key, low-profile person. She keeps her professional life professional and her private life private and maybe that’s just because she’s only been in the industry since 2009, but still there’s something to be said about her being able to keep out of the tabloids for this long. Now, according to sources, Pete Davidson has been telling friends that Kim K doesn’t hold a candle to any of his former girlfriends, the roster that includes Kate Beckinsale, Ariana Grande, Kaya Gerber, and Margaret Qualey.
In fact, Davidson says the more he reflects on his relationship with Kim, the more he wonders “what the hell he was thinking” and he says that his “swagger was gone” and that he was “afraid he would become a long-term victim of the Kardashian curse”.
