Legendary Elton John and crooner Ed Sheeran share a very special relationship!
Recently John spoke to an Australian radio show and told of a present Sheeran gifted the Rocket Man for his 74th birthday that passed in March this year.
“For my birthday this year, he gave me a giant marble penis,” John revealed, saying the piece is “really big” and “beautifully made.”
The Crocodile Rocker went on to joke, “I don’t know if that’s because I’ve always been a p**ck or what.”

Sheeran is apparently quite well known in his circle of famous friends for purchasing “inappropriate” gifts. For singer Anne Marie’s 30 birthday she received from Sheeran, “the biggest dildo available.” Meanwhile Friends star Courtney Cox was the recipient of a collection of gimp masks.
When asked what happened to his gift, John confirmed he still has it, but it’s not displayed exactly where he would have liked it to be. John’s husband, David Furnish wouldn’t let him put the X-rated statue in their garden. Furnish was worried what the couple’s two young sons, Zachary, 10, and eight-year-old Elijah would think or say about Sheeran’s ‘special gift’.
“It’s hidden in an area in the house where they wouldn’t see it!” John went on to explain.
In return for his “kindness”, the knighted John decided his expertise were needed when it came to his young friend’s fashion sense. The Sir has even offered to put the 30 year old singer-songwriter in touch with Italian fashion designer, Donatella Versace.
“I said, ‘Ed – you’ve worn the baggy shirts and the trousers, it’s got you so far but it’s now time to make a change,'” John recounted to the Aussie radio show hosts. John is unsurprisingly taking credit for the flamboyant bright pink suit Sheeran sports in his Bad Habits video.
“You’ve got to look great,” John encouraged Sheeran for the music video to the chart topping, lead single of his upcoming fifth studio. “He loves it, it’s not as if I’m forcing him to (do) anything he doesn’t want to do,” John was quick to add.
