Elon Musk and Grimes have a second child now! A baby girl that they’ve managed to keep under wraps for several months but the secret has finally come to light. Grimes says their daughter was born back in December via a surrogate and her name is as unique as you would think. Exa Dark Siderael is the newest member of their family, and they’re calling her ‘Y’ for short.
Grimes dropped the news to Vanity Fair and announced the rumor that she and Elon had broken up back in September. She said, “I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid.”
Their other child, Baby X was born back in May of 2020 and before that, Musk had 5 sons, a set of twins and a set of triplets from a previous marriage to Justine Wilson.

As of this moment though, Grimes has said that they’ve since split up since that Vanity Fair interview, saying that they had broken up “again” but that Elon is her best friend and the love of her life.
We of course wonder why they chose to go with a surrogate, though I think we can assume that they didn’t want a circus following them around day and night asking about the pregnancy. We look forward to seeing the photos of little Y and hope that mom and dad can make things work as best they can for their children.
