El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers for week three find Carlota Cervantes’ (Ale Müller) secret revealed, a big decision for Soledad Elizalde (Laura Flores), and possibly the end of #Aristemo after a shocking twist. If you missed it, let’s catch up with an El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca recap.

El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Big opportunity

Tiago (Sian Chiong) and Aristóteles Córcega (Emilio Osorio) have formed a bit of a friendship, and Tiago has a lot of respect for Aris as an artist. To that end, he wants Aris to join him when he goes on tour. He thinks it’ll be a great opportunity for Aris, but Aris isn’t sure. Between Cuauhtémoc “Temo” López (Joaquín Bondoni), Arquis, and the life he’s building in Mexico City, he doesn’t think he can leave.

Tiago can’t even, thinking that Aris is being a bit silly here. If he’s going to be an artist and Temo wants to be in politics, they’re going to be separated at some point. He also warns that fame tends to change relationships. Aris won’t budge, though. Instead, he gives a bit of advice.

El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Tiago’s lesson

Tiago’s had a thing for Carlota and he’s tried his best to get her to give him the time of day. Unfortunately for him, Carlota’s not really in a place for this. He’s turned down again and this is surely contributing to his attitude about relationships and his idea that it’s hard to get someone to care about you for you.

Aris gives him a little advice, suggesting that he back off a bit. He needs to have patience because she’s going through some things still and needs to heal yet.

Tiago decides to take the advice and approaches Carlota to be honest about his feelings, and that he knows she needs time to heal, but he’s going to be waiting when she’s ready.

El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Fighting for happiness

Soledad’s desire to be with someone else is exposed this week, leading to a lot of trouble. Ubaldo Ortega (Sergio Sendel) is furious and they get into a massive fight when she finally decides to ask for a divorce. She can’t take being with him anymore, because she’s being suffocated. She can’t say anything, wear anything, do anything without risking upsetting him or hurting his image. She’s tired of the farce and wants out. He’s not for that and outright refuses to give her a divorce. What’s more, during the fight he gets physical. This just cements her decision more.

Later in the week, she confides all this to Nora and Dora Ortega (Nuria Bages and Helena Rojo), and Elsa Reynoso (Leticia Calderón). Dora is skeptical her brother would do such a thing and thinks that divorce is a bad thing. Soledad is firm, though, and enlists help to do it without Ubaldo’s okay.

El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Surprise return

Nora has been nursing some hurt still over Dora destroying a postcard from an old love. This is part of what leads her to be supportive of Soledad maybe stepping out on Ubaldo to be happy.

This week, she gets another card that appears to be from this mysterious old love, who says they’re coming.

Later in the week, Dora is with a bunch of our main cast giving a group hug when we see some feet approaching. Dora sees this and looks surprised, so we’re guessing that old love has now returned.

El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Carlota exposed

As you might remember from the previous episodes, Carlota’s been maintaining a relationship with Ubaldo because she thinks he was involved in her brother’s death. The closer she gets to him, tough, the more he’s suspicious. He ends up having a device planted in the apartment so he can spy. He hears her discussing her suspicions as well as the device her brother left hidden under a piano key. It contains a video where Andres (Bruno Santamaría) accuses Ubaldo of being worse than people know and is capable of anything.

Also finding out about her plot is her father, Olegario Cervantes (Víctor González). He ends up discovering Carlota and Ubaldo together and loses it. He and Ubaldo gets into a physical altercation before Olegario drags Carlota out of there. She then confesses everything, and he is shocked. When he wants to know why she didn’t confide in him, she says she wanted to get proof first, and they’ve all kind of been doing their own thing since Andres’ death. She begs him not to tell her mother yet.

Circumstances later bring the entire truth out and Elsa is horrified. She thinks her daughter’s made a huge mistake and could have destroyed a couple of families over her lies. However, she is even more angry about the implication that Ubaldo killed her son. She forgives Carlota for her sin, then swears that all three of them will stick together and get to the bottom of everything. Now that the family is getting back together again, little by little, Carlota is ready to move back home.

El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Shocking twist

This week, Temo also learns about the relationship between Ublado and
Carlota and confronts Ubaldo over it. He can’t believe he would do something like that and doesn’t stick around long at Ubaldo’s victory party. But there’s another reason he isn’t around when Ubaldo wants a message put out on social media in the wake of his victory.

A mysterious figure had entered the apartment where Carlota and Aris are and shoots them. Temo is devastated to discover this and calls for help while staying by Aris’ side.

While they’re both out and in surgery, Aris and Carlota visit Andres in the afterlife. He also gets a glimpse of his mother, although he’s not able to speak to her. While there, Andres passes on a message for his family. Both Aris and Carlota eventually recover from the incident and Carlota realizes that the shooter is not Mateo (Eduardo Barquin), as it seemed. It was another guy who Carlota had seen before.

We later learn that it seems this mystery guy was sent by Ubaldo and Insario (Roger Cudney). Be ready for some trouble ahead, because after everything Carlota told her parents, they are all about getting proof to expose their new head of government for Mexico City.

El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Papancho se queda

Following the attack on Aris, Francisco “Pancho” López (Arath de la Torre) had rushed to Mexico City with his other kids to support Temo and look after them both. Once Aris is recovered at home, he asks to speak to #Aristemo alone. He sees what happened to Aris as a hate crime and, given the conventional attitudes of the city, he thinks it’s best if the pair returns home with him. Neither one is having it, as they are building a life there. They know their sexuality is going to be a problem, but they aren’t prepared to run away from things. Given all that, Pancho decides he’s staying there to keep an eye on them.
