EastEnders spoilers have indicated that the tensions between Chantelle Atkins and Gray Atkins are set to boil over. Their relationship has seemed as though it has been on borrowed time for a while now, and with no end in sight to Gray’s controlling behaviour, Chantelle may be forced to finally leave her husband.
Things look set to go from bad to worse for Gray over the coming episodes, as he becomes convinced that Chantelle is cheating on him. The controlling lawyer will become sceptical about what Chantelle is doing behind his back, but could his fears really come from what he has been doing behind his wife’s back?

Gray’s anger could spiral out of control over the coming episodes, and it may not only be Chantelle that could be in danger. There is extra confusion thrown into the mix given that Whitney has admitted her feelings to Gray over the previous episodes. Fans are still unsure whether something could happen between the two of them, but the actor that plays Gray has already indicated that Whitney’s troubles may not yet be over.
Toby Alexander-Smith has recently revealed that Whitney’s emotional declaration will throw him off guard. The actor reveals that it wasn’t part of Gray’s plan, and he will be confused about how to react. He did admit that it is a pleasant surprise for Gray, as it will strike his ego.

Viewers will also witness the revelation that Gray uncovers, when he finds out that Whitney’s ex-husband used to beat her. Alexander-Smith revealed that this knocks him for six, and does make him question whether his anger has spiralled too much. The revelation will stun him, but he will quickly think that something else is going on between Kheerat and his wife.
Gray doesn’t like the fact that his wife is working so closely with another man, and that will leave seeds of doubt in his head. This could be a fatal mistake by the lawyer as he could be caught out by Kheerat. Viewers of the BBC soap will be hoping to find out how this story ends soon, but they will be disappointed that it was recently revealed that the soap will not be back on television for a number of months after recorded episodes will run out on Tuesday.
