EastEnders news has revealed that the BBC soap have begun filming again this past weekend. Fans of the soap will be disappointed this week as the final two episodes air on Monday and Tuesday. The BBC have already revealed that there could potentially be no fresh episodes of the soap until September, but the bosses have already revealed that there will be some special programmes aired to ensure that fans still get their EastEnders fix.
However, pictures emerged over the weekend of some of the cast getting back to filming. A picture of Kellie Bright and Danny Dyer surfaced online, with the picture taken outside the famous Queen Vic pub. Bosses at the soap are working hard to put episodes together, and have already revealed that episodes will be ten minutes shorter due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Viewers of the soap will be delighted to see that the actors are back on set, and they will be filming the new episodes at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood. The executive producer of the show, Jon Sen, has already spoken at length about his excitement at getting back to filming.
He revealed that the team have been working tirelessly to come up with no ways to shoot while following the social distancing measures in place around the country. Sen also admitted that he hopes the soap will be able to return to four episodes per week as soon as possible, as that is what the fans deserve.

The final episode will air on Tuesday night and will leave fans disappointed, as they will be forced to wait until September to see what happens next. There will be a shocking head to head between Sharon and Phil Mitchell, with bosses already revealing that there will be a huge cliff-hanger to end the show.
It will be a shocking turn of events for fans, as they will be left guessing what this means for Sharon and Phil’s relationship, and whether Sharon will ultimately decide that she wants to have Kayden back in her life. An announcement of when episodes will return will be made by the BBC over the coming weeks.
