One of the most iconic guests to ever grace the Dr. Phil stage has to be Danielle Bregoli, aka Bhad Bhabie. At 13, Danielle’s mother claimed she could no longer control her tear-away daughter and, as he is prone to do, Dr. Phil sent Danielle away to a teen reform camp, Turn-About Ranch.
And now Bhad Bhabie is challenging Dr. Phil to ‘cash her outside’ as she claims horrible happenings at the ranch that encapsulate everything from sleep deprivation to witnessing a murder, and not receiving any counseling in the after math.
Dr. Phil Finally Responds to Allegations of Sending Teens Off to be Abused
Danielle is actually the second teen to come forward with these types of accusations. Hannah Archuleta was also sent to Turn-Around Ranch after appearing on the Dr. Phil Show.
Among other claims similar to Danielle’s, Hannah alleges she was not only sexual assaulted while at the “troubled teen” ranch but then punished after reporting it.
These allegations came to light in February, and only now is Dr. Phil responding to the girls’ comments. In a radio interview, host Ashleigh Banfield didn’t pinpoint the worst of either girls claims, rather denigrating Danielle for her behavior on Dr. Phil’s show and vaguely mentioning Danielle’s claims that she was kept awake.
Dr. Phil, too, glossed over the allegations, quickly distancing himself from Turn-About Ranch.
“We’re not involved in that, we don’t have any feedback from them. Whatever happens when they’re there, that’s between them and the facility,” he claimed, directly contradicting what he tells his guests when they are on stage.
With cameras upon him, Dr. Phil assures guests that the time they spend being exploited helped on the show is just the beginning of their path to being cured from whatever ails them and that he and his producers are there for them for the long haul.
Now we all know Dr. Phil is full of it, but we aren’t sure which of Dr. Phil’s claims are false.
Bhad Bhabie didn’t accept Dr. Phil’s dismissal of her claims like the good little girl the ranch was designed to turn her into.
She recorded an eight minute video response that she uploaded to her social media accounts refuting Dr. Phil’s claim that he was disconnected from what took place at the camp.
“My mother signed a consent of release of information to send progress reports directly from Turn-About to the Dr. Phil Show,” she claimed. She also added, “Maybe you should be getting some feedback from these places if you’re sending multiple kids there.”
While battle lines have been drawn between Dr. Phil and Bhad Bhabie, you don’t need to worry about the newly minted 18 year old. Days after her coming-of-age birthday, the rapper started an Only Fans account, making 1 million dollars in only 6 hours. How ‘bout dat?
