Does B&B’s Brooke Want the Co-CEO Title So She Can Feel Equal to Katie?

For the last two days on The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke Logan has insisted that becoming co-CEO of Forrester Creations is about legacy, partnership, and helping lead the company into a “new golden age.” But the more this storyline unfolds, the more it feels like there is something much more personal driving Brooke’s sudden need for power.

Yes, Hope clearly pushed Brooke toward this decision because she wants Steffy out of the way and wants Hope for the Future protected again. That influence is obvious.

But underneath all of that, Brooke’s deeper motivation may have far more to do with Katie than she wants to admit.

    Katie’s Success Clearly Changed Something

The timing of Brooke’s power play feels impossible to ignore.

Not long ago, Katie launched Logan and started building something completely her own outside the Forrester orbit. For the first time in years, Katie is not standing in Brooke’s shadow. She is the one running a company, making executive decisions, and building a brand around her own name.

Ever since then, Brooke has seemed increasingly restless.

Even Katie herself questioned Brooke’s motives during the last two episodes. She openly wondered whether Brooke suddenly wanting the co-CEO title had something to do with competing with her. Honestly, it is a fair question.

Brooke already has influence at Forrester. She already has Ridge. She already has fashion industry recognition and years of history with the company. Yet suddenly, right after Katie becomes a successful CEO in her own right, Brooke decides she also needs the top executive title at Forrester?

That timing feels a little too convenient.

Brooke Keeps Talking About “Taking Her Rightful Place”

Another thing that stood out over the last two episodes was Brooke’s language. She repeatedly talked about taking her “rightful place” beside Ridge and becoming part of a new power couple running Forrester together.

But the way Brooke keeps framing this feels less like a calm business proposal and more like someone trying to prove something.

She constantly lists her accomplishments, reminds everyone of her legacy, and talks about how the public would respond to seeing her and Ridge leading the company together. There is almost a desperation underneath the confidence.

And Katie’s success may be triggering that insecurity more than Brooke realizes.

For years, Brooke was unquestionably the dominant Logan sister. She was the face of the family, the center of the drama, and the woman tied to the biggest power players in Los Angeles. Now Katie suddenly has her own company and her own authority, and Brooke no longer seems fully comfortable just being Ridge’s wife or a company spokesperson.

Now she wants the title too.

Steffy Is Paying the Price for Something Personal

What makes the entire situation unfair is that Steffy is the one being caught in the middle of all this emotional baggage.

Steffy pointed out repeatedly that Brooke already has a major role at Forrester. Nobody is trying to erase her legacy or force her out of the company. Brooke simply wants more.

And from Steffy’s perspective, she is now being asked to sacrifice the position she earned because Brooke suddenly needs validation — both professionally and personally.

She reminded Ridge that she helped save the company, modernized the business, and built the relationships that keep Forrester competitive. Yet somehow she is now expected to step aside because Brooke and Hope no longer like the current balance of power.

Ridge May Not See What Is Really Driving Brooke

Ridge keeps viewing Brooke’s request as romantic and symbolic. He talks about recreating the magic of Eric and Stephanie while Brooke leans into the fantasy of them ruling Forrester together as a glamorous fashion power couple.

But the reality may be far messier than that.

Hope’s frustrations may have motivated Brooke to act, but Katie’s success feels like the deeper emotional trigger behind all of this. Brooke suddenly wanting the same executive status Katie now has does not feel accidental.
