Johnny Depp has won his defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard, who is ordered to pay a staggering $15 million in the case. Heard shared a statement online saying that she was upset and claims that her second amendment rights weren’t afforded to her while still claiming she was telling the truth.
Depp released his statement saying that a jury has “gave me my life back” and is feeling truly humbled. In his statement, he wrote that six years ago, “very serious and criminal allegations were levied at me via the media, which triggered an endless barrage of hateful content, although no charges were ever brought against me.”
He continued to say, “and six years alter, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled.”

Johnny seems to have been saved by this trial and we hope that we continue to see Depp work on some exciting new films. In his statement, he thanked the judge, jurors, sheriffs and everyone who sacrificed their time for the case, as well as his extraordinary legal team.
The vast differences between Depp and Heard’s statements speak volumes. Of course, Depp is going to be in a better mood after winning, but in Heard’s statement she just whined, and it was all about her, she never mentioned anyone else. Whereas Depp thanked everyone who was there and was polite with all the people in the courtroom. Heard came off very hostile.
Now, Heard absolutely lied and did some terrible things, but I still wish her the best as well. She deserves help and hopefully, she will receive it after this wake-up call.
Johnny ended his statement saying, “The best is yet to come and a new chapter has finally begun.”
