After the jury found that Amber Heard, in fact, owed Johnny Depp millions of dollars in their defamation case, Heard has been shouting that it’s disgusting and the verdict has “set women back”. Of course, Heard has been accused of perjury and lying about what actually happened, making her pleas detestable.
Now, her sister, arguably the only one who believes anything she says, has shared her support on Instagram, with a photo simply reading #istandwithamberheard. The photo was accompanied with a long caption that began,
“I still stand with you, sissy. Yesterday, today and tomorrow I will always be proud of you for standing up for yourself, for testifying both here in Virginia and in the UK, and for being the voice of so many who can’t speak to the things that happen behind closed doors.”

She continued to say that they knew it was going to be an uphill battle, saying the cards were stacked against her. Whitney also wrote, “I am so honored to testify for you, and I would do it a million times over because I know what I saw and because the truth is forever on your side.”
Whitney had her share of fans, let’s be fair, but largely her post was ridiculed and laughed at by Johnny supporters and continued to downplay Amber’s absurd claims. The matter of public opinion has been stated, and it’s overly sided with Depp as we saw in the trial.
While it’s nice for Amber’s sister to stand by her, we can’t bring ourselves to support that woman. The only thing that “set women back” was Heard’s own testimony and phony lies. She made a complete zoo out of the entire thing, and tried to turn it around on Depp. There seems to be a pattern here.
As it stands now, Heard has to pay Depp $10 million in defamation, though a rep for Heard says she’s unable to come up with the money.
