‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ star Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) is officially a Mrs. after tying the knot this weekend with new husband, Marlon Aquino.
Camila and Marlon began the new chapter in their lives by exchanging vows at the Castle House Estate in Joshua Tree, California, on Saturday, August 28.

Marlon, also an actor, shared the happy news through a series of Instagram stories. Friends and family also shared moments from the attractive couple’s special day.
It has been quite the year for Camila who returned to her Days of Our Lives stomping grounds (before anyone really knew she left), got engaged in Miami and then, upon returning to Los Angeles, discovered she was Covid-19 positive.
Camila initially left the soap in November 2019 for a mental and physical rest. However, due to filming ahead of time before the pandemic, then the pandemic filming shut down, her alter-ego, Gabi was only off screens for a couple of months. Camila, however, had been away nearly a year.
During a trip to Miami in December 2020 is when Marlon popped the question to his girlfriend of a decade. The celebrations, however, were short lived when Camila started “not feeling right”. She lost her sense of smell and had “really mild, mild symptoms,” ultimately testing positive for Covid.
After a (thankfully quick and full) recovery, Camila gave fans a front row seat to her bachelorette party, sharing photos on her Instagram while thanking and sharing the love for the special people in her life.
Now, only 9 months after he popped the question, Marlon got to put a second ring on it and gets to call the lovely Camila his wife!
