‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) is in the midst of exacting her revenge on Gabi DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). She has them tied up in the not-so-secret room at the DiMera mansion, and they are about to get blown to smithereens.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The Horton House Was Set On Fire In Early 2024
In Crazy Connie’s mind, they are the ones responsible for killing “the love of her life,” Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). Gabi and Melinda try frantically to get Connie to come into the real world and realize that she killed Li.
However, cuckoo Connie refuses to listen. She’s hellbent on killing Gabi and Melinda, and nothing will stop her. Connie planted a bomb in the wine cellar, and it’s about to go off.
As the seconds are ticking away, Gabi and Melinda are horrified and scream for help. Upstairs, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) finds a bloody fireplace poker and is puzzled.
Spoilers indicate they are all caught in the blast as EJ searches for Gabi. It looks like he’ll be her knight in shining armor. He’ll make his way through the rubble and find her.
We have to ask, will the DiMera mansion really explode? The show shocked fans in early 2024 when the Horton House was set on fire. An iconic piece of Salem history was taken out all in the name of production using cheaper sets. It was a soap tragedy when it occurred, but it only took a matter of months to rebuild it.
Given its size, the DiMera mansion may take longer to rebuild, but then again, crazy Connie may not be the best bombmaker in the world.
It’s more likely that there is just damage to the wine cellar and possibly the lower floors of the DiMera mansion. To blow up two iconic sets in one year would be crazy, but stranger things have happened in Salem.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Stefan May Drop His Vendetta Against EJ
Some suggest that if the DiMera mansion were blown up, it might stop all the infighting and nastiness among the family members. The exploding DiMera mansion could be the catalyst for creating peace and civility among them.
One scenario we can see is that if EJ does save Gabi’s life, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will be grateful enough to drop his vendetta against EJ. Stefan still loves Gabi despite their recent troubles.
He certainly doesn’t want his wife to die, even though she slept with his least favorite brother. The mansion’s destruction would give them all reason to separate and not constantly be under the same roof, arguing with each other all the time.
On the other hand, the DiMera mansion is to Days what the Quartermaine mansion is to General Hospital. It would be difficult to imagine the show without it. Stefano DiMera‘s (Joseph Mascolo) home is part of the DiMera legacy.
There are so many questions that need answers. For example, if this is the end of the home in its current state, how will it turn out if the unthinkable happens?
Hopefully, this won’t be like a Horton House situation. We feel that even after the bomb blasts, the DiMera mansion will remain mostly intact.
