‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers were waiting for the showdown between Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), and it looks like things are going to take an interesting turn.
Of course, the whole timing is curious as it may have been better had they not glossed over the election she won in a landslide off camera as Stefan could support her opponent, but there is another way.
Since no one cares that Paulina paid off the authorities to protect Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) in England to avoid an justice being done, and then the show glossing over Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty)’s attempts as if they were trivial, Stefan will need a different tactic.
Though him raising a public stink over the way her DA, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), is weaponizing his office to go after Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) after she protected her family is a distinct possibility.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Looking for a soft spot
In fact, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers would be disappointed if the thought didn’t cross his mind. Like Paulina, he has the money to make a lot of noise and help things go his way, and it could result in an investigation into her in some form.
Even if it doesn’t do anything, it’ll be a nuisance to her while Stefan plans his next move.
With EJ most likely losing his mind over his missing and presumed dead son, Stefan will be vindicated at how EJ should be fired and could force her hand in that regard, but will he stop there?
‘Days of our Lives’ Spoilers – A new Big Bad arises
While the old Stefan may have let things go at that, we have a feeling this version won’t be so kind and he may step into the public ring himself and use the full power of DiMera to do so.
How that will play out is anyone’s guess, but we have a feeling he’ll cement himself as the new, true bad guy in town.
He’d be the perfect one to take over for Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) and this could be the beginning of that character arc.
As Stefano and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel)’s son, he has the unique genetic makeup of a DiMera and Alamain, and it’s something the writers haven’t been able to fully capitalize on yet.
This storyline could see that growth and give us more than just family politics on a daily basis, and once Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) takes over Titan, we could be looking at the next generation of power brokers in Salem.
