‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) seems like she’s headed for a full-on, dramatic mental breakdown. She’s already started to exhibit a downright nasty and diabolical side to her personality.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sophia Is Plotting Against Johnny And Holly
Even her partner in crime, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), has taken note of Sophia’s psychotic tendencies. How chilling was it when Sophia told Melinda that she was planning to make Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) wish he were dead?
Sophia is still furious and blames Johnny for ruining her life. He backed out of adopting Sophia’s baby at the last minute. She ended up giving birth alone in her room and leaving her son at the fire station.
Thankfully, Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) found the child, named him Tesoro, and became his foster parents until they can find him a suitable and loving home.
That said, Sophia’s reign of terror is set to impact several characters on the soap. She wrote a scathing message to the social worker in Tesoro’s case to warn them that Professor DiMera is not fit to be a father.
Not only that, she lied and claimed he was having an affair with one of his college students, which will likely result in him being fired from his new job. Sophia’s intense jealousy of Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) has also become dangerous.
She wanted Tate Black (Leo Howard) all to herself, and when that didn’t happen, she turned into the new Jan Spears (Heather Lindell).
Longtime fans know Jan was a holy terror who had an irrational, decades-long obsession with Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) and often battled with Belle Black (Martha Madison) for his affections.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sophia’s Relentless Pursuit Of Tate
When it comes to Tate, Sophia is relentless. However, we fully expected her to keep the baby to maintain her hold on him.
Yet, many fans also suspect that Tate isn’t even really the father. She’s gone to great lengths to secure her hold on Tate. Last week, Sophia spiked Holly’s drink with alcohol when she was clearly already too wasted.
While Holly was passed out, Sophia took inappropriate pictures of Holly and will use them to seek revenge on Johnny, killing two birds with one stone. Sophia knows Holly used to have a crush on Johnny, and plans to exploit that.
Sadly, she’ll also hurt Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens), who only wants to fulfill her dream of being a mother.
Spoilers indicate that this week, Holly’s dorm room at Salem University will erupt in fire. Apparently, in Holly’s drunken stupor, she knocks over a candle while she’s sleeping it off.
Fortunately, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Tate come to Holly’s rescue. Sophia’s behavior is becoming increasingly unhinged.
Tate is frustrated in trying to get the truth about their baby from Sophia. He’s desperate to learn anything he can about his child.
Additionally, Brady hired a private investigator to determine whether Sophia had lied about the baby. In Brady’s mind, Sophia’s story doesn’t add up.
Between trying to keep her story straight and keeping all these secrets, Sophia is headed for a mental breakdown.
We think she’ll ultimately end up as a patient at Bayview. Days has a history of sending characters to mental hospitals after breakdowns, and we predict that Sophia is next.
Regardless, once the truth comes out, Sophia will have a lot of explaining to do.
