‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers suggest that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) may be the reason Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) end up losing their baby and leaving Salem.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sophia Blames Johnny and Chanel for Ruining Her Life
In the January 29th episode of DOOL, Chanel went to visit Sophia at Bayview in a feeble attempt to reach out to the troublemaking teen.
Chanel also apologized for her and Johnny backing out of the adoption, which she knows Sophia holds against the couple. She still blames Johnny and Chanel for ruining her life.
It was almost painful to watch Chanel reach out to Sophia and tell her that no matter what, Sophia was Trey DiMera’s (Joseph Inlenf and Jordan Perdue) mother and she wanted her to be a part of the child’s life.
Sophia continued playing her game, pretending she couldn’t speak and barely responding to Chanel’s olive branch.
After Chanel left, Sophia texted Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and admitted to the lawyer that she could indeed speak.
Sophia informed Melinda that she wants everyone to underestimate her, as she has big plans. Shocked, Melinda asked what her plans were.
Sophia wants Trey taken away from Johnny and Chanel and give him to another family. Melinda didn’t exactly seem too down to help Sophia destroy Johnny and Chanel’s happy home.
Melinda did her best to try to steer Sophia down the right path. Once it became clear to Sophia that Melinda wouldn’t be part of her scheme, Sophia told her she understood.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sophia Will Likely Blackmail Melinda to Help Her Take Trey
Melinda said she was happy that she had a change of heart and then thanked her for not ratting out her role in the fake adoption.
Sophia shot back that, as long as no one knew she could talk, no one would ever find out. It’s obvious that Sophia is going to blackmail Melinda.
We have to wonder if Sophia will be the reason why Johnny and Chanel take their baby and flee. Carson Boatman and Raven Bowens have both been let go from the soap, so it makes sense.
Obviously, Sophia will try to kidnap Trey. Whether or not the stress from worrying sick over him causes a miscarriage, it looks like Sophia may be behind their exit.
Chanel is experiencing a high-risk pregnancy. If the stress and fear become too much for her, she could lose her baby or even die herself.
We don’t think DOOL would actually kill off Chanel, but there is already a lot of speculation that the circumstances surrounding their exit from Salem will be tragic.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sophia Could Cost Chanel Her Miracle Baby
Sophia could cost Chanel her miracle baby. The chances of her conceiving once again are slim to none. It certainly would be heartbreaking to watch Chanel suffer yet another miscarriage, but this is a soap, and soaps tend to repeat stories often.
Chanel had a miscarriage in June 2024. At first, Johnny and Chanel believed that it was triggered by radiation exposure. Chanel had been stuck in a snowstorm, during which she was exposed to radioactive iodine. (Only in Salem).
However, it turned out that there was a medical explanation. Apparently, Chanel had a molar pregnancy, making her pregnancy inviable. Now, carrying her pregnancy to term is potentially very dangerous.
There is no doubt that Sophia is targeting the couple. We have no doubt this girl is planning to kidnap Trey. Sophia seems to be on the warpath and is solely out for revenge.
The question is whether Trey’s disappearance will end in tragedy, especially if Sophia really gives the boy to another family, and Johnny and Chanel are forced to pay the ultimate price.
